The Gutsy Gibbon – it’s almost here!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

As a long-time proponent of open source technology, it makes me happy to post this to my blog. Gutsy Gibbon is almost here!

In case you’re wondering — Gutsy Gibbon is the name of the new Ubuntu release. Ubuntu is a “flavor” of linux. My hope is to break my ties with the Windows world (although I haven’t fully made that jump yet). Anyway, check out Gutsy if you get a chance — I don’t think, outside of the theme, you’ll notice anything different between linux and windows.

Tuesday, March 7th, 2006

So, as the “Firefox Guru” around the office, I’m often asked to show off my favorite Firefox Extensions. So, I’m sent scrambling for my laptop to open up Firefox and find which extensions I have installed. So, instead of that method, I’ve decided to blog my favorites. I will try to keep this list updated as I find new favorites. (more…)
