I’m smelling one of my next projects here!

So here is the little project that grew to 12 feet. We added a GPS receiver so now we have a 12′ clock that sets itself, displays hours/minutes/seconds, and is accurate to 100ns. Beat that bed side alarm!

Monday, March 20th, 2006

Congress is now considering the Digital Media Consumers’ Rights Act (DMCRA, HR 1201), a bill that would amend the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to allow circumvention of copy protection for non-copyright-infringing uses. When Cheetos won’t stay in your mouth

Monday, March 13th, 2006

Today for lunch, I decided to go the “cheap” route and get a chicken salad sandwich and a small bag of cheetos. The sandwich was really good, and the cheetos taste really good, but the damn things won’t stay in my mouth! They insist on dropping onto my black sweatshirt. So, now my black and orange sweatshirt is making me look like a slob! Oh well.

In other news, we got like 8 inches of snow last nite. It was enough to have them set work back 2 hours. Niiiiiice…I got to sleep another couple hours! It was well-needed because I was up playing black and white 2 til late last nite. I just started playing the other day and I’m not completely sure if I’m playing correctly, but it seems pretty fun.

That’s all for now…

My favorite Firefox Extensions

Tuesday, March 7th, 2006

So, as the “Firefox Guru” around the office, I’m often asked to show off my favorite Firefox Extensions. So, I’m sent scrambling for my laptop to open up Firefox and find which extensions I have installed. So, instead of that method, I’ve decided to blog my favorites. I will try to keep this list updated as I find new favorites. (more…)

Hockey Season

Tuesday, March 7th, 2006

Well, I just ended my hockey season this past weekend with the Girl’s Varsity Tournament out in Rapid City. It was my first time visiting the “Thunderdome” (Rushmore’s hockey rink). The rink is set up alot like Huron’s, only bigger and not quite as dirty and worn out. Plus, I think the people are nicer too :) .
